Not only that, you can buy a Large Car and lease to them and make a living. I did. Ask the OOs. I ran BALT-SEA-SPO-CHI-Lafayette IN-SEA-SPO-CHI-BALT. It was great, 3500 mi/wk and of 1 week a month. The terminals were all nice w/clean showers and they gave us parts and fuel at discount and service was 1/2 that of truck stops.

 

If they decide to pick me up (they've called and asked about a orientation, I've done apps and faxed them all my docs.) I'll be going on board with them inside of a month. Anything I need to know about the company, the routes or cargo they haul, or just general advice?

I'm just going to start lying to everyone that ask questions that could've been answered by reading the 1st few pages of the thread. Yes you will haul dead bodies, yes you will have to lump the freight into the morgue. Backhauls are roadkill collected by city, county and state road depts heading to a big landfill in California. You will have to hand load all freight and hand unload. Hope this answers any questions.

Oh yeah and for the pyshical you'll have to bench 200lbs, curl 60 lb dumb bells and give 200 sit ups before they even bat an eye into thinking of hiring you.

 

Roxy called me yesterday and told me that WS is no longer financing the school, because of so many drivers defaulting on the loans. You'll have to pay for it yourself now.

Did she mention whether or not they would reimburse you if you pay for it up front? I too am thinking about WS and she had told me that they would pay $100 month for 36 months.
