Should cut the juice off to everything so when your away from the truck for days at a time you will have juice left to start the truck.
Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
It's not like any battery isolator I've ever seen, but I'd have to agree. It's also good for when you have to work on big juicy wires without causing fires.

Freightliner has one on drives side floor. It cut all the power off. They say even with the key off. One computers is running and looking for when you turn the key on. Then it tells all the computers to turn on. So it always drawing a little power even with key off. So if you leaving truck for 3 or more days they say flip the switch and just all the power off. It probably same idea on Volvo.

this is an isolator but they mess up all the time connected to a module on top of your batteries that shuts off and turn everything on .

Okay thanks for the replies but it's not only a switch up and down you can actually press it like a button and so what do you guys think happens if I push it like a button

It’s a remote master switch. I don’t recommand you to turn it Off during the engine is running because your alternator will lost the battery reference voltage.
