1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

And BTW, this week slowed down, I made 5 runs Monday through Wed for 200 bucks a turn (50 to me so 250 a day), off today because my dump valve died on my truck and it had to go to the shop, and tomorrow I will only get 3 so it's a 150 dollar day. That's a 900 dollar week and I only worked 4 days. Sure the hours are long but hey, it's truck driving, not consulting. If you want to earn more than 36k a year, you gotta be willing to work.

And not having a life? Man, I have a daughter I get to play with for 3 hours every night instead of 3 days every month, I have a 65" long GSXR 1000 with enough nitrous on it to make you see Jesus I go drag racing with every clear Sunday, and I am here BS'ing on TTR when there is nothing else to do.

I don't hunt, I don't fish, and I don't drink anymore so I have every thing I need thank you very much :)

i'm getting 14/hr here in NC,it's actually under the market rates with companies such as Neff Rental or RSC,but i'm putting in my work and getting my experience in new types of trailers so i can be more versatile and decide if i want to stay in this area of trucking or got back to reefer/dry van.

You do the math, I didn't make that kinda money OTR

um, I HAVE done the math. that was the point of my rant - OTR doesn't pay anything.

you gotta be willing to work

oh, I'm willing to work - just not 15 hours a day.

And not having a life? Man, I have a daughter I get to play with for 3 hours every night

so, you must sleep 3-4 hours a day???

    I have a 65" long GSXR 1000

$1575 a week hauling dirt, eh? welp...I guess I'll be packing up and moving to TX. and all I'll have to do is work 15 hours a day, 6 days a week! oh lordy!

I guess you better pack your bags then, I don't know what else to tell you, nice manipulation of my name however.

It's quite easy to tell when you are getting into an argument with a person of little character, they stop trying to argue and begin to insult. Luckily I don't like to go into a battle of wits with an unarmed person so I will just leave it alone. I am sure a mod will eventually take care of you.

BTW, it's 4:15 and I'm off to work, or woe is me lol.
