Ok I missed your post. I thought .87 was your final od and that you were in 12 speed auto. My bad. Now that leaves me wondering if my speedo is off or someone swapped out 4.42s. I'll have to look at a gearing calculator and the specs on the mack 18. Seems like you'd be turning a lower rpm @70 or I might just be a mental midget today

honestly you're probably right. I don't know much about those old Ford's. My dad said that was a big tractor on their 200 acre farm in north jersey back in the 60s and 70s. Makes the 330 we have look like a monster. Then again they had old horse drawn converted equipment and were still taking milk to the creamers in jugs in the mid 70s. My dads uncle did not like change apparently

Lol, where are you based out of? There's a couple truck stops between Stanley and Williston that I could stop Monday nights on weeks like these. Wednesday nights I get into Williston.
