    • I have a 3406B and want to go to bigger fuel lines from tank to pump I was thinking -10 from tank to primary filter then -8 everywhere else, also thinking of going from a -4 return to a -6 or -8 and dumping into the pass tank it draws from the drivers tank. What is the return rate on the fuel? Thank you

A B returns very little fuel. Also the return fitting on the back corner of the pump is actually a special fitting that only allows so much fuel to pass. It does look like a normal fitting till you look in the end with a light shining in the other.

The should have 5/8 inside diameter lines all the way to the lift pump.

There is no use in changing the lines after the transfer pump either, the fitting is the restriction where it enters the pump, larger lines gain you nothing.

    SAR Thanks this.
