@Tug Toy That is how I felt most of my life working on my dads stuff, and then mine. However 2 years 4 months he has been gone and its the most I miss when I'm working in the shop. He would pull the "I'm no mechanic like you" stuff then when a problem came up he would surprise the heck out of you with a solution. I guess I miss the old man getting under my skin. He was always the first guy there and would volunteer to do the crap work first.

That’s a great relationship.
I never had that with my dad or my stepdad.
Now.... my wife’s ex stepdad....
He is awsome. He is the reason we moved back to the Midwest.
Uncle Bill is the youngest brother of “father in law”. I had him run a project at my old company. Nothing but impressed.
I brought him out from Arizona for a couple months to help finish the house project.
