I'm not trying to scare you off but the money in hopper stuff is thin, waits can be bad with lines etc. You got to load heavy and ride fast to beat the crowd to the other end. On your own is the only way to go. You need to give the least amount possible away. That said its addictive. Nothing like loading 3rd on a cool morning to 95k gross out farm bins in Augusta and passing the first truck to load about Conway with every one headed to Danville.



Knowing the right people to pull for helps too

 

I plan to try to keep it local to keep expenses down. I'd buy a day cab but might have to do some over night stuff occasionally. I just dont know where to start with getting in contact with the right people.

Speaking of parking. Carbondale pilot. TNi driver doing a 30 on the island. Look at him with the wtf look. He waves. Go in tell the manager and they make the announcement. I go about my business come out and hes moved up but still there.

 

I hate you. I struggle to find places that I can eat with a real fork and you....?

 

I went on A tirade the other day. I called about 15 trucking companies.

I asked for safety dept. Kindly told them I won't tell you a truck number. But the next time your employee prevents me from fueling. You will get a tow bill to help move him to a spot for his 30min. Break.
