Ok, so I’m having a problem with my 2012 Volvo semi. Had truck put in shop multiple times over the past 3 months with the last time resulting in transmission replacement. The issue it’s giving me is when cruising...70-73mph, I lose boost/acceleration. The speedometer drops immediately by approximately 15-20mph but will resume acceleration shortly after. Any ideas of what’s going on?
Volvo 2012 loosing boost/acceleration at 70-73mph.

Turbo? Air to Air maybe but probably not, check all the hoses pipes and clamps to ensure no leaks or cracks or loose clamps. Might start there. By now you might have it fixed.
Johny41 Thanks this. -
I believe Rob is right, Could be turbo or actuator , intake leak above certain boost presure, like a drive axle air spring leak, won't hold heavy trailers.
Back in June 07, I purchased my last truck, new 780 ,2008 with D13, I was used to run my pre-emission 770 with D60, 70-75 mph, but this motor doesn't like speeds above 65 mph and mountains , I was in shop every week in first months, the motor is running hotter , emission system has a certain limited capacity to optimally process smoke; faster you run, sooner gets clogged , the DPF , egr cooler, venturi, sensors . I'm governed to 65mph(Ontario laws
), running mostly about 62-64 mph, but actually helps with maintenance , fuel economy and road safety.
