This is so inaccurate it’s funny. You can just log on to YouTube and there’s tons of mega drivers showing their paychecks that are far above this.

And what are you including in your “100 hours”?

    Lonesome and bigblue19 Thank this.

f you work as a driver for Knight (as well as any other bottom feeder mega), you will be making $600.00-$850.00 per week for up to 100 hours of work, per week.
Anybody clams any different, well, they would be well suited for political office.

With 6mos experience I think they start you at around .42cpm plus .05 quarterly bonus of which .03 is easy to get According to people I know who still work there. So a regional driver doing 100k mpy would be $42-$47k per yr. By all accounts the avg Knight driver makes around $45k so given their driver pool a above avg driver would easily be making more then $50K . They also pay vacation pay based on a 52 week avg so the more per week the more vacation pay. My girlfriend in her last full yr made $48k + $5k in bonuses + $2k in vacation pay for a total of around $55k. Thats a weekly avg of around $1,058 & she didn't even run above avg miles & she figures she put in 65 hrs a week to get that rate.

Not saying go work at Knight or any OTR job, but lets be real, you would have to be really enept to make less then $850 a week & or lazy at Knight even if it is a Mega.

There is no driver shortage. Just a shortage of PAY. Drivers are sick and tired of being stiffed on the pay (plus other issues)to the point that a lot of the more senior drivers are getting out of driving, hanging up the keys and calling it a career.

But I digress, a company that has someone come into one of the terminals and shoot up the place can’t be that bad, right?

Yes I've had to hide my SUPERIOR BEINGness behind the guise of a simpleminded driver here on TTR until my master plan can come to fruition.

    Dave, Dave, Dave....
Every payday while working for the Megas is always a whiney day.
Lousy job, lousy pay, lousy conditions. All of them.
    If you’re still working for Melton, then you know what I’m saying here;
All Megas ( Repeat... all Megas) are not the best places to work.

    Wrong!
The pay structures at these megas are set up to the advantage of the company only.
You’re not figuring in all the time wasted sitting... and sitting... and sitting due to lack of loads.
And enough of the lazy driver crap; all combined, these companies are totally taking advantage of all the drivers ignorant enough or just plain foolish enough to work for them.
And I’ll stand by my original claims of what all the drivers are actually earning with these Megas...
    $600.00- $850.00 a week for up to 100 hours.
All you drivers that are choosing to claim otherise are just enabling these companies to continue to take advantage of yourselves.

    Veryblessed Thanks this.
