I'd heard about the riceland cards and calling in. Didnt know there were different color cards though. And numer 16 goes home empty handed.
Ideally running for peco or omp/George's feed mill would be best since that's closest to home but I'll take pretty much whatever I can get.
Back in the summer I was looking at buying a dump for sand hauling. Luckily i decided to hold off on that because they dont run anymore.

I'm lucky I guess, I don't deal with any of that back east here. I don't play chase the freight. You call I haul or stay home. I do agree to keep your lips tight. Every once and awhile new guys pop up for a few weeks and go away. Now you farmers dont take this the wrong way, because alot of my friends and family farm too. These guys without operating authority, farm insurance hauling commercially really grinds my gears. They are the cheapest cut throats I have ever meet. Makes some of CH Robison rates look good.shogun, cke, peterbilt_2005 and 21 others Thank this. -
Happens here to, I farmed and I’ll always be a farmer at heart but running for hire in farm tags is nonsense.

That is probably the best response I could have expected, thanks. Incredible amount of information but I love it. I'm always fascinated by industries and processes that I'm not involved in. It's why I got a tour of the water treatment plant over the summer I was delivering to.
The guy went over the whole process including how the lime is used in the slaker. I very much enjoy knowing about what happens to the things I deliver. I'm just as "nerdy" a truck driver as I was about things before getting into this industry. You get to appreciating the details in things you love.shogun, cke, Hurricane69 and 19 others Thank this. -
