Unloaded? Why? Is OP plan to hang a musket above drivers seat "do not disturb driver"
Swadian Thanks this. -
1) Check Company Policy.
2) Check State Law..(specially nevada )
3) Federal Law superceeds.
4) If in doubt.? Consult your State District Attorney's Website for Updates.
5) Why unloaded..?
If it is for self defense.? -
Hold on good sir, while I load my weapon to shoot you. Nope.
-
Well, to my knowledge they are both “shall issue” states, so a permit should be easy to get. But why keep the gun unloaded? That defeats the purpose.
-
Why is everyone focusing on an unloaded rifle being unloaded? What good is a rifle as a defense weapon?
What it sounds like to me, and yes I know what assume means, is he wants to do something like cater to hunting clubs, or rifle competitions and the like. At least for the passenger portion.
For his long gun, maybe it's so he can go target practice at known stops....
It would be nice to know the why though.Swadian Thanks this. -
Nevada law requires that long guns not have a round chambered when being transported, but you can have the tube or magazine loaded.Swadian Thanks this.

Are you moving an army or something?Swadian Thanks this.
