    9. Flip Flops
    10. Bermuda shorts
    11. Backpack to put your Flip Flops and Bermuda shorts in

Just playing, but seriously that sounds like a lot. When I went to school years ago I lived about 45 mins from the school so I just drove. Now when I went to werner I had to do 6 weeks of training and I took 3 suit cases with me then and my trainer said that was too much.

When I drive now I carry a backpack made for my razor, deodorant, shaving cream, etc..
I have a small dufflebag for my clothes, socks, shoes, etc... so I carry 2 bags and thats it. Truck stop has towels and wash clothes... Buy some shower shoes.

Pillow & extra large sleeping bag.
Sheets are more practical when you are assigned your own truck and run solo.

It’s some of the items the school told us to bring as we will be staying in an apartment building owned by them. They said pillow sheet and a cover

Instead of the sheet/cover combo I'd go with a sleeping bag. The reasoning is you will be going out with a trainer after you get your CDL and sheets and blankets are a huge hassle in the tiny area most get for their gear in training.

You didn't say it, but do not bring anything like a game system or even a large laptop with you unless you know you will be going home before going out with a trainer. There simply is not enough room.
