    Got down as far as Rawlins with this load of friction reducer and got a call wanting to know where I'm at. That's never a good sign.

    Told them where I was and they said "Good, stay there. They're having problems on location and can't take the load yet. But mark your time down, you're on the clock now."

    Cool. I was ready for a break anyway.

    I couldn't tell you what it stands for, but it's a "full weight" road. It's built to the federal standard and can support gross weights of 39,500kg (tandem tandem), 46,000 (tandem tridem) and 62,500 kg (Super-B).

    There are "special" RTAC highways that support higher gross weights (500-1000kg more), specifically the TransCanada and Yellow Head highways.

    I was programming and operating a FNC74 machining center and my wife was a temp for my mom in the office at a machine shop and was pregnant with our second. ....our budget was 25k.....and we're still here....

    It was just right at 50 deg.

    Yes, I got to go and yes I was at home.... problem is I pick up at 3 am for 3 rounds in the morning. Headed home for bed.

    Blue are special RTAC, black are regular RTAC, green are Class A (95% (?) axle weights) and red are Class B (90% axle weights).

    It gets really fun when you start to mix North Dakota state limits into the mix and try to maximize payload from up the 6 and zig zag your way down to Williston.

    I ran Super-B's at 62,500kg down the 325 from Ashern once. Almost 14,000 lbs overweight, lol. But tandem tandem at 79,000 lbs gross is perfectly legal.
