The valve ( bottom right ), is it recessed in the head? Looks like it is countersunk.

 

I'm running a Galaxy DX 47HP right now. 2nd best radio I've ever had. A bit more than a couple hundred though.

Connexes are good, might be able to get something in the 40W range for that.

Now the thing about radios is, there's really only a couple manufacturers of all the internal parts. The name is more about the look and features than anything else.

 

what Manitoba calls special RTAC was approved by the feds in 2009(i think) and that was when the gross weight went to 63,500kg for all RTAC roads federally The exception is Manitoba who held to 62.500kg until 2012 (I believe) for all but the through corridors and still fights to get seasonal restrictions on some RTAC highways.
Alberta has made RTAC limits the provincial limits but reserves the right to restrict roads for any reason. Most highways in Alberta are not RTAC but you can run RTAC regs.

Was supposed to spend the first half of the day running to blytheville to pick up some steel going to California. Office calls and says hold on they might have you pick up in little rock instead. Ok will do. Then the update is they dont want it picked up until tomorrow. This was a must pick up Sunday load btw.

 

Uh..... no, no I'm not even going to ask lol. Can't believe someone would be caught in that position!

 

A good freind swears by the Galaxy 33, I've mostly been a Cobra user ( 29's and a 148 ). I like the look of the Galaxy, just never used one. Just always been an Oldskool "if it ain't broke" kinda guy I guess.

 

Anyone have a setup like this in their truck? Probably overkill for just the inside of my cab and sleeper.?
