I see more CHPs along CA-99 between Fresno and Grapevine than anywhere else, especially near Bakersfield. Sometimes along that I way you can get away with going maybe 60, but my eyes are always open looking for them sitting on the roadside or up in the air.

Nope. UPS has a very strict policy with speeding tickets. And California has an even stricter policy on trucks.
If I drove for UPS in Cali. I’d never drive more than 55 More hours = more money. And the state of California would back me up.drvrtech77 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
I'd tread lightly around Yreka as well. -
You might want to hold it down on 5 from Woodland, down through Sacramento, and until you get south of Stockton.
CHP's academy is in Sacramento.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Seems to me that’s a real troll.
And a company schill to boot.
Will the real troll please stand up?Last edited: Dec 17, 2018

Even with a criminal record; just part of the the proof that shows how low Knight’s standards truly are.
And it is no secret that Knight is one of the lowest of the bottom feeder, hire anybody, pay em’ next to nothing carriers to work for. -
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Over half the non trucking industries have dropped their drug free requirements this year, and have quit testing altogether. Does this mean they’re good or bad?
Do you realize that everyone, I mean every single person within the continental US is a criminal, by definition? There’s a law on the books somewhere that has been broken by every person. Who the hell do you want Knight to hire? Illegals? Nope, that’s criminal.
I think you just like being mad and complaining. Have you discussed your Holy than thou thoughts with your pastor/priest/Rabi/Imam or psychologist?
The FREE market will pay you as little as you will work for. This is nothing new. If you don’t like it. Go out and buy 10,000 trucks and start your own mega company.Lonesome Thanks this. -
I have yet to name the company I work for in any of my post here. You’ll never see me promote them, ever. Except to say I think they’re a good company who are trying their best to satisfy 1000’s of employee request on a daily basis.
Life is not about you. It’s about the other 7 billion people, and how you deal with each of them individually.
I don’t like dealing with any of the MF for an extended amount of time. That’s why I drive a truck.
I’m just sayincountry293, LoSt_AgAiN, TB John and 3 others Thank this. -
