I have a 12 volt Black & Decker I bought some years ago, compact and functional. Seems to do a decent job.

As far as I'm concerned that all qualifies you to set up an autograph booth, lol.

I've marshaled all kinds of aircraft all over the world but one thing I never got to do that I always wanted to do was to be a marshaller on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier.

    Cool stuff Moose.

Always enjoyed going on incentive flights and doing air shows. It's great to see the expressions on people's faces that just have no idea what goes on in some of the career fields in the military and then get to actually experience it. One thing that civilians could never get over when they were back there in the boom pod during a refuel was how close the airplanes actually are to each other while that's going on, very cool IH !

Steve, you've got some good recommendations here. The question I have is did you ever get the outback mount? Good grounds?

I'm the type of person who has no budget when it comes to cb (constantly buying). Some folks ask why, I ask why not? My most recent setup cost almost $1k between radio, amp and inline bird meter and line section.

I do recommend cbradiospronto if you buy online, just bought a general hp40w that does 110 watts for around $280. They got a big variety and run specials.

Just think, if that it been a young driver at one of those megas and that happened to him he would have been saying......"I wonder what that noise is" as the pieces are following him down the road as he coasts to a stop, lol.

Awesome video but a word of caution, some jackwad may report you to YT for using copyrighted music and they'll pull your video along with a slap on the knuckles. I don't know the number of times you can get "caught" before they suspend your account but it does happen. The only way around this I know of is you have to obtain both ASCAP and BMI licenses (basically pay the artist for playing their music in a "public" space) and based on the "possible" number of YT users that "might" view the video and in turn hear the song I can only imagine how expensive these licenses would be.

I should be ashamed to admit this but since I can drag another respected member of the community with me here we go. 2 weeks ago @kylefitzy and I were preparing to head to Canada. We were standing at the left rear of my trailer while I fixed a damaged flag mount and we both agreed one of my tires looked like it was squatting a bit. We both kicked the h%ll out of both those tires for a good 5 minutes discussing how it just didn't "look right". In the end, we (I'm trying to spread the blame) agreed that it must just be a hump in the pavement. So we pull out on to the road to wait on paperwork. Kyle comes walking up to my trailer and says "I know why it looks like that, the inside tire is off the rim". Guess what, it was flat and no matter how many times we "kicked" it, it was still flat and judging by the wear pattern on the flat one, it had been for more than a few hundred miles (I had pulled it 1/2 a city block).

My old man taught me to "thump" tires with a 5 pound short handled sledge, said if he caught me "kicking" the tires he'd use the hammer up side of my head. Some times Old Men know the correct way to do something. Short of a tire gauge the only "acceptable" form of tire checking IMO is a heavy hammer.
