You boys do a good job of policing yourselves, I certainly have to give you that.

Delta Chemical in Baltimore won’t touch anything not theirs, even if it’s to get to what IS theirs. They’ve been sued before.

Thats why I mostly lurk around this thread and i see why most of you do the same. I'll get myself in trouble in some of the other sub forums. Once you old timers are gone so is the knowledge you guys have.

A few years ago, I had one of my ‘scientific’ moments and decided to figure out whether or not “birds of a feather” flock together or are FLOCKED together. See, @johndeere4020, @Ruthless and I didn’t like each other and decided to figure out why. Come to find out that we were on the same page. Same school of hard knocks, same values, same work ethic, same code of honor. No wonder I don’t like those guys.

The thing is that most of the people that regularly posted here, past and present were cut from the same cloth. Now that doesn’t mean that there weren’t problems or problematic persons. Unfortunately, when there are problems, someone gets banned.

And that hurts everyone. That person’s experience, expertises, and contributions are gone. Everyone has something that they add to the forum. Everyone has talents or skills. Right? Even that Moose with the missing head.

Had a guy load with me yesterday that loaded behind me. By the time I ran out of there, I was chasing daylight. I realized that I would be hitting the scale right at evening curfew and 30 miles away from the nearest parking spot. I shut down 40 miles early. Got up today and hammered down. Got to my receiver and this guy shows up behind me. He wants to know where I shut down.

I told him where. He tells me that he went around the scale (with an oversized) and parked at the truckstop 30 miles on the other side.

    “Ummm, okay?”

What’s the purpose of bootlegging an oversized when it doesn’t benefit you any more than if you ran it correct? All that risk, all those extra miles for the same money and you still show up in the same order as you loaded?

    Stupid brags about being stupid.

I'm still pretty young at 25 but I deff went the school of hard knocks route earlier on in my teens partying way too hard got out of control and yada yada yada. Lucky to still be alive. You ask me to get a task done, ill get it done. 8 years of football and power lifting drilled work ethic into me at a young age and carried over to all other aspects.

Started my career doing food service in NYC with a 48 footer w/50k+ in the box. Fingerprint everything 2-3 times or more. Went into the oilfield got thrown to the wolves. No idea how to get that cement off but i figured it out after plugging up a few times and the company man watching my every move. @ShooterK2 you'll get a kick out of this.

My generation is so F'd, most anyways. Even my younger brother has no work ethic no code of honor, just wants to sell weed, get high and do the bare minimum.

When everyone else is content to crawl, all you have to do to stand out is just stand up.

Btw, it’s not your generation’s fault. Most Americans under the age of 45 have never seen the way a Man is supposed to carry himself.
