Yea my dad refused it right off the bat. The oilfield has deff drilled safety into me. A few of the companies up here requires 2 spotters and a few other companies dont care if you blind side it in w/o any spotters. Doing cement if I was by myself I always grabbed a rig hand or 2 just to CYA

My dad said those were his best trucking years. Worked with a good group of guys. M-F 380-400mi a day. I'll never forget those memories going to the city. I wasnt even in school yet.

Thats is very true. My lawyer walked out shaking his head and said I dont know what to tell you, except we can appeal. I didn't feel like dragging out a 150.00 ticket. Driving in marked lane during turn violation. In fricking semi in town. This old broad was on the side walk gonna pass me. Then she realized a fire hydrant was in her way when she hit me.

Man, it's funny you brought that one up. Chris Knight done a good version of it too, but when I was in my early/mid 20s, the road hammers were a cool group me and a few of my friends were jammin out to. Iikem

My favorite one is road hammer. The beginning with the old man talkin bout the Sky Hook always made me laugh, you can barely understand him.

I'd get on the c.b. and inmate that part God how we all laughed. My wife still gets pissed off when I'm wondering around the house imitating that guy lol

Being a down south redneck, I can appreciate this song. It’s my ringtone. We get it done, except for those unloading @stwik.

Shoot, Stratford's just up north a ways outside Dalhart.

    P. S. Dalhart sucks.
