When I first read that I took it as your 32nd turn on the run your doing to SD or wherever it is down here, lol.

You know what the crab mentality is. Basically, “pull the guy on top to the bottom/if I can’t succeed, no one else will/ every man for himself”.
I have a different idea.

 

Reliable? Max reliable power? Worth 18,5 in a 93 t800 with 282k on it?

 

They are ok engines in a straight truck, but I wouldn't want one in a semi pulling 80,000 alot personally. The c12 was basically same engine as a 3176, but had a little more bore and stroke. I wanna say a 3176 is around 375-400 max horse torque prolly around 1300 to 1600 for truck engines.

You can bump one up to a 3176c marine app program to 600 and maybe 1700 or so torque, but its horrible on fuel and wont last before it chucks a rod, head or valve.

My opinion, no way for 18k. More like 9 or 10
