Would you stay away from a c12 in a 2000 t800 with 850k for 29?

Even kinda looks like ya.....redish hair and all. LOL

 

3176 I think max 350hp, 1350 torque for road application. Idk what you can bump them up too but I would avoid it. Alot of guys used to run them in a dump trucks hauling asphalt to say weight and put alot of gear in them.

 

Some these other fellas might chime in....but honestly for what I do, I'd pass. Couple of reasons. I guess it depends on what you have in mind to use it for, but for me.....

1. Power is ok, but it's not impressive at all.
2. Resale value sucks on a small bore road tractor.
3. You're limited how far you can juice one up to because of longevity and the amount of stress of the smaller engine.

They are light weight by a couple thousand pounds tho, so like I said, it really depends on what you're gonna haul with it as to weather or not it makes sense for you.

Take that $29k, add 5 to 10 to it and buy a decent older large car is what I'd do personally.

 

Dang it! Missed you by a day. I'm doing the 81 shuffle tomorrow! Then down to Greer to get heavy again.

 

Got rained out, no pushing dirt today. Did get all the trees piled up to burn. Got to cut the root balls off and dig a hole to bury them. I'll get a hoe with thumb to do that. Suppose to rain tomorrow. I'll tinker on monster tomorrow. Got my new exhaust housing in so I'll button that up tomorrow.
