To all Millis folks. Be careful who you listen to. This dude I met last night seemed fairly knowledgeable and seemed like a fairly good guy. I'm not saying I'm fantastic. Trust me, I'm not. But if you listen to that guy, you'll end up in the wrong part of the pool. I am not anything special. But that guy is for sure an idiot. And he's there in your pond waiting to infect your thoughts. Had a good mind to trip him on the way out the door. He's dangerous.

That's why I dont hang out in driver lounges of the terminals. In and out and back to my truck with my curtains closed lol

Talked with Greg yesterday and every location that runs a school is already full thru March. Cartersville is so full they are going to start running 2 classes down there. 12 students signed up for the Jan class lol

I guess the secret is out now lol new students cant beat the pay/schooling anywhere else. However we need trainers bad. So any of you guys with experience, you can make #### good $ being a trainer here. Im not saying this to brag, Im saying this to let you guys know the kind of $ you can make training here. I have 3.5yrs experience and if I run the same this coming yr with the new pay raise we got in November, as we've ran this past yr, I should gross over 100k. And I take a generous amount of hometime. Maybe I've just been lucky but I'm 7 students in and only had 1 issue. And he was taken off my truck immediately.

With that said hope everyone has a good holiday. We are 2.5hrs away from home. Will be headed for Eau Claire Weds morn and run till Sun the 30th. Hopefully most of you took the rest of the yr off so there will be some freight to run between Xmas and New Yr lol

Merry Christmas to you too. How long you have your current trainee till? I should be ready for trainer feb.21. I smoke but I don't like smoking inside so no worries there. I don't want to be breathing in exhaust and cigarettes 24 hrs a day.

My current student should be done by Feb 14. However even though you dont smoke inside I wont take anyone that smokes. 1st off, making someone go 6+hours without something they are used to doing at any given time can just lead to the stress that is already going to be on you as a new trainee. Plus even though you wouldnt be smoking in the truck the smell is still there on clothes etc and I cant deal with the smell. Whole family has smoked my entire life and driven me to hate it sorry man.

We don't have a truck stop anywhere near the house so we make do with the county fairgrounds. First time I've ever seen this many trucks parked here. 2 boxes, 5 open deck, and 1 bobtail. Pulled that yellow knob for the last time until 2019. Hope all y'all have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

And Merry Christmas to you too SJ. On hometime a little early but that’s ok. Meeting my best friend from high school for lunch tomorrow, he’s an OTR driver too. Then Monday, meeting my old motorcycle racing mentor for lunch. It’s gonna be nice downtime. Merry Christmas y’all. Keep the rubber side down.
