Yessir. They raise them and study genetic vs diet. They had one deer I hand fed that was an 18 point, he was a 14 the year before. His dad had been a 21 point I believe. On the south farm they do all the research on catfish, crawfish, black bear, fox, mountain lions and many other animals. They have a top 5 vet school with a hole in the side of a live cow so you can see the four stomachs. They even have the dairy out there with machines milking cows.

Most people don’t know about it, but it’s really neat to go check out. It’s a little eerie when you spotlight an area and see a mountain lion’s eyes reflecting right back at you.

The school produces their own chicken, beef, cheese, milk to use on campus. That cafeteria has some good food.
