Limited Quantity shipments and the segregation chart.

    ...Flammable liquids and oxidizers, as one example, cannot ride next to each other. 4’ separation is required.

    Shipments in limited quantity packaging such as fire extinguishers and aerosol cans do not count towards your aggregate total of hazmat on the trailer and don’t require placards. Question is, does the separation rule also apply?

    NO. Those items are not placarded, and probably classified ORM-D if they are marked at all. They should not have an 'X' in the HM shipping column and are not considered part of your hazardous materials on the shipment.
