Yeah but his ntp warranty covered everything besides like what 2,000$? Cuz you have to pay for gaskets fluids taxes etc.. this is still not a bad loan mountain story. 2k$ sounds like a lot to some people. To a company owner/o/o it’s just another small check to write off on taxes.

    Example 2.

He could have bought this truck cash from a private owner and then the truck blew up. New he’s out 18,000$ out of pocket. Which is what some of you think is More logical. So yeah granted the truck blew up he is still on top

You get a warranty so you’re safe until that’s out... in the mean time save up for when your warranty expires. Shouldn’t be that hard. Doesn’t matter where you buy a used truck is a used truck weather it be at loan mountain or bobs truck sales.
Doesn’t mean this is loan mountains fault.

If you lease or have your own authority at the time of the sale you will pay no tax at all.

Leases include tax. Last payment it's yours.

If you're thinking about bringing one of those shiny bad boys to Landstar, like one of those 780's, you're gonna be looking down the gun barrel at $750 to $800 month just for insurance.
    Enjoy.

Dave where do you get your 750-800 a month for insurance from? I got a 780 in 15 and put it on with Landstar from day and my insurance was only 440.00 a month. But i got mine through true north based on my years of safe driving, credit worthiness and what ever else they put into the equation.

Yes i did. Have always carried my own insurance from day one. Every year I have had the premium adjusted to reflect the depreciating value of the truck.

I never concerned myself with my credit score in the past. Didn’t own a single credit card for most of my life.

After getting my first card, it became a game, watching that score. And seeing what effected it.

And let me tell you one thing. When they pull a hard check of a 6 digit request. It will knock the bottom out of someone’s score, that has a short credit history lol. It’s since recovered. But ####!!!

My truck is $170 month. Second truck is value at $80K, it is $370 month.

Math says one at $160K or better is gonna be $750 or better.

My credit is tops, that has nothing to do with it I don't believe.

I'm 13-1/2 years in, clean record ( knock on wood ).
