Im confused, are you an owner operator or not? Your post states "Id reather drive for a owneroperator who has a lease purchase or not.Im ready to go to work ASAP."
As for the question "
Some seem to have no problem bouncing cross country empty to only haul the best paying freight.
Haven't figured that one out. Doesn't that make the profit not so profitable?" That really depends on what kind of freight, service you provide. This year I personally averaged 26percent empty miles, some are personal others are moving to the next load. Admittedly I also primarily haul a niche market freight that pays above average. Had to give up hauling lesser paying loads to cover the empty when they started affecting my ability to be on time for the money load.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
