The reason I like to talk about this coil load twice in my life time is because there is usually something scary in any work for anyone. And these two were it. There was a Flyover on the interstate rising about roughly 80 feet into the sky. Ramp was marked 25 mph yellow and black.

I came around that one at 8 with the speed 10 being too fast and wanting to roll over off the bridge to fall down and 6 being too slow where it will roll off to the inside of the curve to fall down. So you were either lifting wheels on the outside or inside. Take your pick.

I chose to be a touch fast at no more than 9. If she did lose it all and go over, I can at least try to get out of the tractor

No he ment it unrolled about 24ft of material off of it before it stopped rolling in the meadian after it rolled off his trailer.

Lucky that bridge pillar stopped it from going any futher.

Well I have, but it was on a dirt bike.

Now I'm starting to wonder just how many times Chuck Norris took his 45x96 ravens and drug a 52k 24ft wide coil through our ATV park and up devils back bone hill.

Man I wish I coulda been there.

Im done with this thread. Any time you get up to Hammond Steel mill and they plop a 24 foot LONG coil 8 feet wide half inch sheet 52000 pound steel on YOUR deck, you are more than welcome to PM me then ask me how I secured mine.

Remember one thing. Stupid comments like 24 foot long and 24 foot wide coils etc puts a ignore box going on that list. I don't worry about any more of that silly stuff anymore from you.
