I am not bashing land star or any company. But we all no, at every company put there. There are some big money guys. Some goijg broke everyday guys. And the rest of us. So for every $10-15,000 per load drivers. There are 1000 $1.60-200 per mile guys.
Would you accept this offer?

Sounds like thats just how Swift sees it if they are only making 118,000 a year on their drivers as was posted earlier or either their drivers are not getting any miles? I think you fellas missed OP stating he was running team at 300,000 miles per year? 2.00/mile would be $600,000. Im sure swift is making more than that? But then maybe not? Its also very possible I read something wrong? Its a long post!lol
As for OP's original question, I dont know how things are out there now as Ive been off of the road for nearly 4 years but it would depend on a lot of things you need to consider? Like one poster stated a Good Business Plan and an Accurate Profit/Loss Statement/Break Even Analysis is essential so you know exactly how much its costing you to run that truck per mile. One size dont fit all in this business.Last edited: Nov 27, 2018

Now, that's some serious keesh!
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Yeah but here is the thing, if you sit on your ***** waiting for the freight to come to you, you will remain that $2 per mile guy all your career. LS is a bit different, you have a lot of opertunity to do a lot of different things and if money is your only goal, then you can get off your ****** and get a contact list of Agents, go on their web site and see who is moving what and start selling yourself to the people that have the three and four dollar freight.Lepton1 Thanks this.
