Any O/O's run out of Albuquerque out there? Dry van specifically. Just wanted to know if it's profitable to live there as a O/O. Safe travels and Happy Holidays.

@Dave_in_AZ probably can give good advice on that.
Ellimar1021 Thanks this. -
That's probably one of the worst spots.
I mean like top bad places:
1) Florida
2) Montana
3) Idaho
4) New Mexico Albaquerque & Santa Fe specifically.
You can get stuff going there all day. But it doesn't really pay for the drive out.
There's pumpkins in the fall, a few spotty things, but no.
I took stuff there when I took care of my Dad, then I'd drive home. Going in is good. But there's very little coming out.brian991219, Puppage, SteerTire and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thanks for the info Dave. I had a feeling that was the case.

Wait. I just looked at our board. There is some stuff. But you are looking at SUPER CHEAP neighborhood.
Socal Xpress and Ellimar1021 Thank this. -
Cheap and Heavy runs out there a lot... If you live in that area I would probably move.. Not a whole lot of good stuff comes out of there...

I just came out of Labatt in Albuquerque and thru this year did some loads . Loads to Albuquerque 2.00+ all day , load prices out not so great . Pumpkin season you can see 3.00 to 3.50 loads but that comes and goes quickly. I'm running Tx to AZ and Nm basically West , rates are ok not great but I'm just trying to stay warm .

Okay, so where are the BEST PLACES to move to if you want to start out as an O/O?
