That news station is full of it. I've picked up and delivered water from Poland Springs in Maine. PS operates two plants in the great state of Maine.
I cannot speak to the quality of PS bottled water, but I'm quite certain no tap water pipe is running from NJ to ME.
Does PS receive all of their water from Maine? I don't know.
And when are people ever going to wake up to the fact the news isn't news. There is more truth in movies than on network or cable news. But folks won't believe that because of the presentation.

POLAND Springs. Named after the town in Maine. The brand is owned by Nestle Waters NA, and they have pumping stations and bottling plants all over the world. The source of your water may or may not be from one of the many wells in Maine at all. If it is, its the same source as our tap water.

One day at a chemical blending plant one of the employees spilled some chlorine on the floor. He then called 911. Twenty minutes later firemen in hazmat suits came walking down the street and onto the property.
You were saying that this chemical is safe to drink? They usually store about 200 gallons of chlorine. How about they fill you a glass full. -
5 parts per million is not a glass of god #### bleach.

Hell, I just fill up my old gallon milk jug with water from the fuel island or any rest area water fountain. Haven’t started pissing razor blades yet.
Diesel Dave Thanks this.
