McLane driver pay......

    Most are 1-2 days, but some DCs cover a lot of desolation. One of our drivers went to another DC to help out and said one of the routes he did was one day of driving, take ten off, deliver and drive part of the way back, then take another ten and drive in the rest of the way. The upper Midwest and plains states can be a looonnnng way between stops, or at least populated areas where there are a bunch of stops.

    The route we did two days a week was good for about $450/day, but I think that was exceptional. Some of those bids were pretty cheap.

    You are paid by the mile, by each stop and by how many cases on the trailer.
