Was going to bobtail over to a frac job south of Wamsutter this morning but they have the chain law in effect going over the sisters. So I guess I'll have another cup of coffee before I go anywhere.

(no offense meant to the doorslammin crowd)
I read through that 6x2 thread, and thought about a response. But then, I read the sticky from the admin warning us about hurting the feelings of new people. No one wants to hear that their ideas are stupid, so of course, they will get butthurt when you tell them that their thought process is stupid.
The guy was asking about using a single drive axle with a dummy drive for rgn work. Why? to save weight and fuel economy. Stupid. Just another guy that plans to use his highly developed fuel saving doorslammer techniques to take the OSOW world by storm. Have you ever seen these guys show up on a jobsite with their POS megafleet trucks, running supersingles and trailer tires on the drives? You NEVER see them in northern Canada.
I once saw a Daily truck that was an old Werner truck that he converted into a 4 axle truck so he could run a 7 axle rig. He got loaded up, not even heavy, and making a turn to pull out of the way for the next truck to load and all you could hear was POP! POP! POP!POP! And everyone else is saying, "Great! I hope he can get out of the way before his truck breaks."
It makes you mad when some moron, who put together a beancounter truck to pull OSOW, always either gets stuck or breaks down on the unpaved road that everyone else has to go in and out of. Hey Stoopid! Before you go out and buy a truck to pull an rgn, why not go drive someone else's truck and pull an rgn? Because I swear, if you had ever in life pulled an rgn for any time at all, you wouldn't still have those stupid beancounting ideas in your head!
(ahem....)
But, in today's world, no one DESERVES to hear that they are stupid. So, I will be silent. Six back quiet.Oxbow, BigBob410, johndeere4020 and 25 others Thank this. -
At least this guys asked. I can’t fault him for that. I would whole lot rather he asked than not ask and go do it. You don’t know, what you don’t know unless you are willing learn.BigBob410, johndeere4020, Slowpoke KW and 8 others Thank this.
