So sorry to hear that... I was saddened when I came back OTR and heard you were “away”... I do hope the eye straightens out before surgery but it’s amazing what they can do with surgery now days too.
We will keep you and yours in our prayers for a quick recovery.
PS ... RM lost a good man and great support guy.

Like I mentioned... I want an RM App!!!
They tested the waters with their RV App... that gave me hope but I think that’s been abandoned too. -
Anyone have any idea how to fix the invalid/expired license message on the truck navigation app? Doing a GPS repair fixes the problem for about a week before it pops up again.

Hey Mark, sorry to hear about your eyes, hope you can get that taken care of. I myself have cataracts which ain't fun. Also sorry to hear you're not with RM anymore. You fixed my 720 a couple of years ago and I greatly appreciated it. My 720 is now is about 6 years old and I fear it might be done. Is it possible to literally wear out the touch screen? The back button in upper right corner does not respond anymore. Even the ? button- which I was using to get by the problem doesn't work anymore either. Ironically, the screen brightness is such a distraction because of my cataracts and I'm unable to adjust it anymore because I can't go back. (Btw, I hope the newer models have a simple one touch adjustment for brightness- if not, no sale!)
dunchues Thanks this. -

Mark Kling, I just ordered an Overdryve 8 pro. Do you have a thread for that unit?

Hi all,
When Hubby started his time off for Christmas, I tried updating his TND-720. To make a long story short, it is now a doorstop. I am 100% certain that the download was corrupted. He is now back to using an old Garmin car GPS with a 2 3/4-inch screen whose maps were outdated when we bought it thirteen years ago. I sent Mark a PM two weeks ago, but have not heard back. I really didn't expect to - he has bigger fish to fry now. I don't have his email address. So my question is - do any of you know what to do to bring the old 720 back to life? I can do this myself if the instructions are clear and complete. If I need a particular file, can someone send it to me? Please don't suggest that we buy a newer model, or switch brands, or send it back to Rand for repair to the tune of $100+. Those are not options for us right now. Thanks in advance.
