I’m not faulting the guy for asking. I’m just boggled that in his mind, he thought it was a good idea. That would be like being in college and someone comes up to you asking about using the ‘elemental P’ in a sentence.
“How did you get into college talking about elemental P? How did you get out of the 2nd grade?”

 

I had to think about elemental P for a minute. That was funny.

Decided to take a step back and rent the proper tool. Got the rest of the brackets and parts off the block though.

 

@wore out I've got the new style timing advance with the 4 bolts. It looks like the advance is a loose fit onto the pump drive that is held in place once the bolts are locked down. Is it possible to advance the static timing by installing the advance a degree or 2 off on the pump? Any negatives to advancing the timing on these prechamber engines?
