Maybe in AZ, but in Pa no sales tax if you are for hire, makes zero difference if it is a lease or not, also with a lease you can deduct the payment as opposed to depreciating it.

I'm looking at their international with the n13 engines i will save alot if you consider financing charges and all the extra lone mountain it's the better option in my opinion

@chasedog That would depend on where you reside. Most states just have you pay sales tax when you complete the lease and put the title in your name. So you're paying tax on the value of a 5 year old truck instead of the full purchase price.
However, there are a lot of states that have different rules, and even some CITIES on the east coast that will tax you just for being in possession of a truck if you reside there. So, as some others have said, it would probably be best to check with your local tax guy to see what would be most advantageous for you.VolvoTerry Thanks this. -
New Jersey doesn't charge sales taxes on commercial vehicles but then again who wants to go to nj and most states don't require a vehicle inspection

I know guys the went through them. Aslong as they made their payments they were ok. One thing which was good and bad at the same time was going over certain miles of month which LM charged more for, but credited to their payment so it was ok.
These were also new trucks.
I can’t say bad about this company but OP sounds insane due to the fact that the truck he bought sounds used and anyone knows when buying a truck money should he set aside.Jarhed1964 and flood Thank this. -
I was fully approved for a new truck, when they started getting them in they asked for an additional $12,000 for the down-payment. Has this happened to anyone else. I has the $17,000 down we agreed on but now they want 29,000.

Either way it sounds like a “bait and switch” tactic a car dealership would pull. I would walk away, but that’s just me.TB John Thanks this. -
They last 90 days, now the truck is no longer new, probably got road hard and put away wet.
If you have the money to deal with someone like LM, just go to a regular dealer.
Right now all trucks are at a premium as well. Cause there really aren't any.Vampire, Jarhed1964, TallJoe and 3 others Thank this.
