Gentlemen,
Sad news about the Starbucks on the Ohio Turnpike. Apparently there is not enough business for Starbucks to keep opened past 12:00am as of Dec 27th. I know there are a few who grab a quick coffee there to stay awake so just a quick heads up. They will reopen at 6:00am as usual.

That is why I carried three Stanley thermoses and eventually a Mr Coffee tied to a inverter. A can of Folgers for 6.50 would make a cup of coffee about .24 cents to me rather than the 2.50 at Starbucks. That might be why their coffee volume has declined a little bit. Truckers may have many inverters feeding coffee pots now.
I gave up nothing in coffee. There is still a bag of starbucks coffee in retail. Otherwise the fall back is grinding 8' o Clock coffee.
Mcdonalds was also a very big coffee provider, because in some areas of the USA like Kansas etc I can pull in at all hours and grab a reliable cup, add cream and sugar just so and its more than adequate. There was a time where McDonalds made their coffees too hot leading to second degree burns but that's a story for another day.Midwesttrucker and truckerman75103 Thank this. -

That's why I have my own coffee maker in my truck. Starbucks sucks in the first place, but I like being able to make my own no matter where I'm at. Cheaper too.
