Not grain but it's everywhere...... I was looking through the boards yesterday while enjoying some coffee here at home. Who in their right mind makes these kind of offers? Must be one of those elusive "backhauls"??

Ever hear Dwight Yoakum cover Purple Rain? It's pretty good.

Yes. That's Boysen Reservoir you're thinking of. It's between Shoshoni and Thermopolis.

@wore out, That is a good post! I as a kid loved trucks, as a teen and young 20's wanted nothing to due with them. It was just a job working on them. But genetics got its way. Growing up around them since a baby will do that. I just ignored it for years. Something aligned and said I was gonna be a 4th generation Owner Op. Bad part is that my worst year trucking still paid myself more than I made managing someone else operation. Its the worst drug ever, trucking!

I chewed a broker for that. "Its a backhaul" bull stuff. I said there is no such word as backhaul! Every load is someone's front haul if you wanna call it that. I'm not going into someone's sandbox and taking their work cheap because it ticks me off when it gets done to me. Someone has to take a stand against it. I will and always have.
"oh it will cover your fuel". Well bull crap. Thats another one. I bid my outbound correctly. It don't cover my labor, wear and tare, god for bid having a insurance claim, auto or cargo on a cheap load. Nope going back empty because I charged a good rate going out.

That vacation was kind of a blur. We tried to see as many sights as possible. Mt. Rushmore, Old Faithful, Crazy Horse among many others.

I am a huge Dwight Yoakam fan, have been since the early 90s. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard him sing that song, thanks for posting it.

Just when you get the current trailer all fixed and the bugs worked out. You swap trailers and get a whole new set of problems!!

The plugs don’t match. It’s missing something

You popped out that piece that is stuck in the light and tried the plug yet? Lift the clip and slide broken piece out. The plug should fit, most turn signals are that 3 prong style.

If not you can just pop that light out of the grommet, go in the truck stop and buy a universal one that fits your plug and pop it back in. Two mins tops.
