Where is everyone #5

I live between Idaho Falls and Pocatello, and the pipeline from Salt Lake and tank farm are in Pocatello. Idaho Falls is always a bunch cheaper than where I live, and they have to drive right by here to get there. Hell, I can buy fuel in Jackson WY (resort town) cheaper than here. Their state fuel tax is less though.

 

That is a good price. $1.81 is the cheapest I have seen down here for 87.

 

Three bunk trucks??

Dang, I couldn't resist peaking in on a thread named Three Bunk Trucks.

Yep. Last week in SA it was $2.99/gal @ the mega truck stops. Go to a small independent and it was .20-.40 cents/gal cheaper.

The mega truck stops figured out how to jack up the price, then offer the discount that seems to be for the mega fleets.

Ive even tried calling and negotiating with FleetOne to try and get a better discount and got told no basically because we dont buy enough fuel. Now I basically stay away from the ripoff mega truck stops off except to park at night and use their toilet. Sometimes I'll fuel just enough fuel to get a shower if I dont know where cheaper fuel is around there. But not before try to flirt with the girl behind the counter and get a free shower.

I figure they try to rip us off, why should I care about their bottom line?

Where do we sign up. I can't think of anything more fun than being on the road for a month at time with not 1 but 2 hood rats...

Well if you quit having fist fights with your co-driver and your navigator about who ate the last donut things would go smoother. You're your own worst enemy.
