Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Just the nature of the beast. I don't think there are many solo loads out of CA which is why they mostly send teams that way.

 

Nothing like picking up a loaded trailer with 2 flat tires off the rim and 2 missing mudflaps to start the day.

 

The last time Abilene send a qualcomm message saying.." To make sure all drivers get a signature from target on the BOL" the in bound security will look at you and say is in the computer; but you must ask for them to put it on the paper.

 

It’s too bad that companies won’t hold drivers that do this sort of crap responsible.

 

Or the local ones who milk the clock until she’s dry and get away with it.

 

I know what you mean. I recently took the place of a dedicated guy who was padding his hours. Company has come out and said that they’re cracking down on clock milkers.

 

They never sign mine at W Jefferson. I just sign it myself and write that I dropped it. That's what my FM told me to do also.
