I've never had a moments problem from my truck with any air related issues. The other night I couldn't get air to my suspension, found moisture froze in a valve. Sometimes it's the little things. And I have a air dryer, and crack my drain valves occasionally.

That's one thing I like about never separating my truck from the trailer. I drain the air once a week and it stays dry.

Air lines not connected correctly or spring brake maxi has an internal air leak

He figured out it was a blown maxi. Air lines not connected correctly wouldn’t have been it since he’s been pulling the trailer for two years.

You may have an unusual setup on your truck/trailer, but gladhands are universal. Walk out to virtually any truck in a truck stop and you could connect the gladhands backwards with no problems, other than the obvious fact that it wouldn't work properly. But the red and blue gladhands are nothing more than colors to help drivers hook them up properly, they aren't shaped any differently.

How many times in 1 year do you replace the airdryerfilter?

I've had some red ones that had a notch in them. If a similar gland hand was one the truck, you couldn't hook the service line to the emergency.

I worked for Fedex freight the had over 20,000 trailers and you couldn’t hook them up backwards. They had the little tabs like the ones circled in this picture.

This is the front of my new trailer and my old one has the same ones

Stop in a truck stop and look at the glad hands they sell, I’ll bet they have those tabs. Most are not universal.
