I know they offer direct deposit

You can either get payed by direct deposit (which u set up during orientation) or they can put it on a credit card type thing where you can withdraw it from any ATM machine but it costs $3 everytime you withdraw money on it after the 1st time of the week.
As far as I know everyone goes from the direct deposit option.dragonmatrix Thanks this. -
Thanks Jacob6875 !!!

Direct deposit would be the best option. I'm getting paid via EFS card and it does have some limitations. Like said above you're charged $3 (I actually thought it to be $4) after the first use of the week. On top of that you are charged ridiculous atm fees to got money off the card on the road... as much as $3.95. I just try to make one withdrawal a week for now but I plan on setting up direct deposit soon. I'm not wealthy enough to be just giving up $7-$8 a withdrawal.

I didn't think you had to pay that fee if you cashed your card at the truckstop when you fuel your truck.....

My husband is in training with Werner as we speak. I realize not everything we are told by recruiters are true. So could a few of you give us some insight as to about what type of pay can we really expect. Solo and team. My husband has a friend that he got on with them and they are talking team if everything works out. They said on the phone expect 600-800. I have heard stories but wanted some actual people who could tell me average.

The recuiter told me I would be done with training in 8 weeks. It was more like 12 weeks. It is hard for some new truckers to break $600/wk. Layover pay seems more likely to happen during the week which is $20 for the day. Breaking $800 can happen but may never happen in the first year.Trainers may get the 800 plus/wk. I think you only need 1 year with the company to become a trainer.
