Guess I can’t help but torture myself, maybe that’s why can’t seem to stay away from the DFW metroplex as much as I hate that place.

    Mini rant coming!

One of the things I like about livin here other than it being home is the wide open spaces. It's about an hour and 15 min drive home from where I was fishing tonight which is west of OKC. You get up on the hills out that way and you can see forever. Use to you had the homesteads, farms, ranches, gas and oil wells in the distance and that's about it. The roads are dark as a cave and it makes for some nice nighttime driving imo.

Well now, you get up on the hills at night and all you see for as far as you can see are those friggin windmill towers with their friggin red lights flashing. The dam things are everywhere. It's bad enough when it's daylight and you can see them but at night with those red lights flashing it's so much more obvious.

They have just ruined the countryside around here, just totally pizzes me off! Some people say it's progress and I say, how would YOU like to have one of those figgin things in your front or back yard after moving to the country to get away from it all? Plus if you get out and listen to one while it's spinning you can hear each blade cutting the air as it passes.

    End rant
