I taught myself flatbed. I waited a couple months before I got into hauling coils. It's scary to think of what would it be like if the straps broke and your load got loose. I strap it down like I'm going 100 mph, but I drive like it's not strapped at all. I've gotten better with chains and binders, but it's still nerve racking.

I would be scared as hell if I used straps and not chains on coils also. My first load I ever hauled was coils.
