I’m assuming the RE West hire outta Vegas Nevada.
Looking into company to obtain my CDL with and drive for.
Seeking Flatbed fleet.
I had another thread about finding a good start up flatbed company to join and the man @Chinatown as usual helped out with his previous knowledge.
P.S. I’ve come across lots of threads saying Roehl don’t have/barely any good miles for their flatbed comparing to Prime even tho Prime flatbed don’t have plenty miles either. If someone who actually pulls a flatbed at Roehl can confirm either it is or it isn’t.
R.E. West Transportation or Prime Inc

Roehl flatbed drivers that have posted on here say they do mostly regional shorter runs. Maybe they will help out and let you know if that's true or not.
If you want long runs try Jones Bros. Trucking or Melton Truck Lines
Southwest Truck Driver Training in Las Vegas will finance the tuition and the first payment isn't due until 45 days after graduation. You can go with Melton if you do this. -
As for RE West, pretty sure you have to be a Tennessee resident to attend their cdl school. Maybe that's changed, so better give a call.
lovesthedrive and drumchaos Thank this. -
I’m not sure about that as they have drivers from all over. Like you said a call would be best.
@Lee79 I plan on starting the RE West training at the end of this month. I live in TN and went in for an interview. Overall It had a good vibe. People were nice and friendly. I also recently spoke with a couple of their former trainees and drivers and they had nothing but good things to say about them as a company. I hope this helps. I don’t have the link at the moment but search RE west in the forum. I posted a pretty detailed update about them so far.lovesthedrive Thanks this. -
Let us know which states they hire from for cdl school; this will help other drivers.
-
Come to think of it. One of the guys that I talked to said he went through their training and was from North Dakota so I’d say they do offer it to out of state drivers.lovesthedrive and Chinatown Thank this.

This is the thread you are referring to.
Best company to get CDL. RE West, Holland, Roehldrumchaos Thanks this. -
Did you decide on a company? Curious as to what you found out and/or decided.
-
I’m still debating and so torn between companies, So I need to call them 1st “R.E.” to make sure if they would train/hire outta Las Vegas.
Although Prime Inc seems very good starter company but I’m not sure about tolerating a totally stranger guy for 3 months driving and sleeping in such a small space!!
But I haven’t called yet cause I’m not ready till the end of February.drumchaos Thanks this.
