I was looking at my wimpy old stock cobra 29 ltd and thinking dang I had this thing since my galaxy 99 got stolen the one time I didn’t take it out of my truck for time off. I was so pissed I said I’m just getting a basic radio, had every souped up radio before that one. This was in 2004, decently old and still working perfect just had the meter light replaced that went out, always like seeing how strong a signal is a night to tell how close they are.

All those bumpy roads, it’s actually amazing. 14 years so far.

I had an old Royce 23 channel radio in my truck when I first started driving. Grandpa had it in his truck 'til they came out with the 40 channel radio. Dad used it on Boy Scout trips to communicate with the other vehicles in the group. When I got my CDL, he passed it on to me. Dern thing was older than I was. Worked great, until one day while home, I had the truck parked about a mile up the road and some low-life decided they needed it more than I did.

To this day, I love reading news stories about thieves being fitted with toe tags after getting caught in the wrong person's home, car, or other property.

A few years ago I took my 3300 to the cb shop by the Petro in Remington Indiana and he went through it and resoldered all the loose or broken solders on the board. All from the years of being bounced around..
Plus I got a little calander with naked girls on it :)

Mid 90's Uniden PC76xl. It's sitting on the table over in corner waiting for a couple of things besides the mic. It is in the same condition as it was when I pulled it out of the truck in 2001.
