I will be leasing on a truck in the middle of January any advice

 

I guess my advice is .
Give yourself time to get used to the way things are on this side of the trucking world .
We don't run like the rest of trucking does .
It is rare to have an appointment time just get there while they are open .

I would say don't be afraid to bobtail it is just part of the job .
I will bounce rather than sit .
We have our cheap stuff like anyone does so don't be afraid to say no .

Tell your dispatcher what you like and don't like so much .
You will work with one dispatcher unless your guy is out of the office .

The people in the office are really as nice as they seem .
We are more laid back than you are probably used to but you can run as hard as you want .
They really play by the hours of service and safety .
So just run legal and they wont bother you .

10 4 thanks for the reply I'm looking forward to it I have been checking them out and have talk to several drivers over the course of a year and I have only heard one person that said anything bad thing about them. so I'm sure it was self inflected haha

 

We are like every company out here we have drivers that don't like us and cant seem to make it here .
I started here in 1995 and things aren't the way they were back then but the whole world is different than it was back then LOL.

Feel free to ask me any thing you want to know about Except if we were busy in December { I was home all month so I have no idea } LOL .
