Where is everyone #5

I see a good bit of old iron sitting around rotting away. It's a sad sight for sure!! One of these days I'll get a chance to save one of 'em...maybe not for work but to at least hear an ole jimmy scream again!

 

I know it man. See 'em everywhere; trucks, cars, tractors, all just rotting and rusting away. Wish I had the capital and know how to rescue a few from the abuse they've been suffering.

 

. Telecommunications for the last 12 years. Before that I sold and delivered Mexican furniture all over TX and NM, a short stint delivering lumber, ran on 966 Cat loader, and was the driver for a local roll off company. Oh and before that 10 years in the USAF.

 

We had our moments where we didn't see eye to eye....but when it came to truckin' and all things mechanical I absolutely learned the right way from that man!! His saying was "if ya' ain't gonna do it right then go sit the F### down and let someone at it that will!"

Not everyone here is a trucker but everyone here trucks or has trucked.

 

Here's what ya do. Watch some YouTube vids and realize that hotshot work is easy money, go 50-60 grand in debt or more if you want buying an overpriced dually, an overpriced gooseneck and then "run the wheels off it" until you figure out what to actually do.
