It's not just the squeezing people out so much as the garbage that the government allows the bottom feeder companies to get away with and the tax incentives to encourage them to keep starting new people in this industry. The Churn is the fault of the policy makers.
The buck stops there. Or rather it Should. -
Well we try to keep up with Shooter’s but his pics are at another level entirely!IH Truck Guy, Feedman, Zeviander and 19 others Thank this.

This is very true. My pics look like I shot them with a toaster compared to his! -
I’d have thought SPD would be above such problems.
Sounds like the caliber of operators needs to get classed up, if that’s a regular issue in this day and age. No excuse not to know those rules in this game in the era of google.
Anyways, good morning y’all. I’m off today- lots of paperwork to put off, and distractions to find so I can miss doing the other things I “need” to do.IH Truck Guy, Feedman, Zeviander and 27 others Thank this. -
Productive morning so far. Coffee is made. Fire is stoked. IFTA for last quarter is done.
Our new friend from Landstar showed up yesterday at about 4:30. I told him I couldn't help him til this morning. He said "No problem, I'll be gone by then," He texted me while we were eating last night to let me know he got stuck.
Didn't bring tire chains like I told him. Shoveled for two hours in his Chuck Taylor low top sneakers and still couldn't get it. But he's got a willing spirit so I'm headed over to go help him this morning.Feedman, Zeviander, johndeere4020 and 26 others Thank this. -
Mornin from central Illinois. I’ve looked everywhere for my motivation but can’t seem to find it. My give a #### seems to be broken too.

I worked in Supply. Was a receiving clerk at Edwards, worked in pick-up and delivery and the warehouse at Elmendorf, and MICAP at Holloman. I was stationed at Holloman when the AF was merging supply and trans. That merger helped me to get my CDL. I was trained and got my tractor trailer endorsement on my govt drivers license, and then studied and took the written exam at the dmv. Kind of grandfathered in, I guess you would say. Worked Friday through Tues in trans on the base and drove belly dumps for local owner ops We’d and Thursdays. Pretty cool gig.

Unload and reload without pushing the knob, can't ask for more than that.
