Heading back to Ohio now. Picked up a load of butter weighing in at about 42000 lb. Just under 78000 lb gross. Heavy is good this time of year. Snow storm in Nebraska so will see how far i get. Maybe get into Big Springs today and let the plows get some work done before going through tomorrow. Looks like the storm is snow from Big Springs to Kearny NE then turns to rain. Weird, but i will take rainy vs snowy..ha

Made it to Ohio finally.. Had a lot of extra time on this load and used it to wait out the snow storms. Didn't really snow a lot but it was slick. The I-80 was closed in NE for awhile. I like to wait until the plows get a chance to clean things up a bit when ever possible so it worked out well. Got through it no problems.

They already preloaded me to pickup in Lima OH and head back to Salty Lake.. I'm sitting here at delivery now after unloading im outa here to get the next. Hoping to get a southern bound load one of these days or im going turn into a iceberg

You all have a great Happy Happy and we'll talk to you on the flipside..:D

BTW this load im currently delivering has a lumper fee. This is first time sense i started here that i had one of these. I just called in and got the code for the EFS check. Just encase some one is wondering, you don't have to pay out of your own pocket. Just make sure you get the receipt and put it in the envelope with the paper work that gets turned in whenever you return to Salt Lake. Accounting needs the receipt.

Upinsmoke, mattbh23, Vic Firth and 2 others Thank this.

That preload is done now, Lima OH to SLC UT. Roads were dry all the way back! Yahoo! Also had got another load while in route. One of our typical dedicated runs from Ogden UT to Santa fe Springs CA. I'm in North Las Vagas now. Delivering this tomorrow then it looks like I'll be doing a 34 hr reset at home ..Awesome!

They did away with that. It’s a straight salary. You are correct as long as you run what you are given, it’s all good

Upinsmoke, Lonesome and atruckr Thank this.

Yes, your check stays the same. I am on Hometime now. They call it ETO= Earned time off. It all pays the same.

Upinsmoke, dwells40 and atruckr Thank this.
