No it wasn't 21'. only 6' or less high, 5' wide maybe. The reason for the abuse was it was on a exit ramp, one lane and banked. Had to back up the ramp and right to rear of wrecker. Winch it in about 500' feet before lifting, then swinger around and 51k at 46 feet of boom just didn't make center of trailer. Accounting for lift angle. But night time job and exempt from accident sight so, just chain it down well and take it easy to the yard. Looked like doo doo.

Yes that is the cats meow for coaches. Nothing more has ever made me more nervious than towing expensive coaches with a wrecker. Except PreVost. Well built but very expensive. The rest are so cheaply built you have to be very careful. Then there are the RV people. Worst group of people. Have no idea why there 500k rv has 500.00 tires. Spent all their retirement on something they can't drive. They are the BMW a holes of the recreation world.Feedman, ShooterK2, peterbilt_2005 and 16 others Thank this. -
I know a guy that hauled a trailer just like that with a single axle Freightliner. He would only chain the steer axle if it was snow and ice. He had the rear axle moved forward so he could tilt the fifth wheel and frame and get under a trailer like a roll off truck. 5.13 ratio with an auxiliary that dropped it to 2.73 on the highway.
Today, although retired, they would open Snoqualmine just for him. Most of those loads were expedited. -
Yeah, I've heard of him.
He posts here on TTR regularly and I'm on his ignore list lol. -
Glad you made it out of there ok. Guy on the trailer thinks you are taking a pic of his woman.

I’d have to consider the electric hydraulic pump setup like Keen.

That’s funny

It has been a long time since I have towed, but back then I was told that you could not lift a bus, short of using a wheel lift, because they would fold right behind the door due to not having a frame.BigCam9670, Feedman, ShooterK2 and 16 others Thank this.
