Happy Birthday to Mrs. 'Cane !
I've heard horror stories about the Stomach that Growls leaving it's host body at night and prowling around looking for victims. Or All Night Eateries. It's a equal opportunity consumer. If it fits it ships.

Air stream trailers are well built. But big No no on lifting. They will wrinkle. Had a couple, the guy needed a nap. Put the little woman behind the wheel. Well she missed a turn and decided to turn around in a private U driveway. Well she remembered she had a trailer when she had it hung up, spanning the ditch. Bottomed out front and rear seting on frame. No lifting allowed, called back to shop for equipment truck. Backed wrecker in and picked up right side set of wheels. Then built a bridge out of cribbing so they could drive right out. She was cutie, I said pull it forward straight and slow. She asked hubby if he wanted her to do it! It was a good laugh.

But not oversize just weight.

The crawl restrictions have nothing to do with anything but weight. The escorts are to keep traffic back off the bridge.Tug Toy, J3trucking, SAR and 10 others Thank this.

Yes, but you were not oversize. It don't make sense I know. Let me ask you this. All the times you had that did you ever slow down to 5 mph on an interstate bridge . If so your the first. What was your actual weight ? All I see is standard axle group weights that they issue regardless of what you requested. A certain gross weight group makes a difference. I do know anything over 140000 lbs. Is automatic of pilot cars on bridges. I don't remember if it is 120000 or 130000 where the requirement starts. I'm not where I can look it up.

Alkaseltzer Cold & Sinus or Cold & Flu depending on your needs. I also add in an 800mg Ibprofen and thats usually the ticket.
Whats the story on the D4?1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, Tug Toy and 8 others Thank this. -
No I don’t slow to 5 mph. The actual wgt on the first is 131820. So I’m actually over gross by 1800 pounds. I permitted it just like the axle groups say. They generally just do like the second permit and just put max axle groups and a certain gross weight. I suspect it’s because one is delivering in state and one is going through the state. I will verify tomorrow, because I need to order a permit for 132k and I am just going to route it from tn to wv on 81. To get past the Roanoke scales. If I order to address it needs bridge approval and can take a couple days
